1.How does food scanning work?

Open Citrus, tap the camera, and point it at a meal or a product label. The App analyses the image with AI and returns a score along with guidance tailored to your profile. You can also type a description if a photo isn’t practical. AI outputs are informational only and are not medical or nutritional advice.

2.Managing your subscription

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through In-App Purchases. Pricing, renewal, and cancellation are managed entirely in your Apple subscription settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Deleting your Citrus account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

3.Restoring purchases

If you reinstall Citrus or sign in on a new device, open Settings inside the App and tap “Restore purchases” to recover eligible prior purchases tied to your Apple ID.

4.Deleting your account and data

You can request account deletion in-app from Settings → Account. Your personal data is deleted within 30 days of the request, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as subscription records.

5.Allergies and dietary goals

Profile details — age range, allergies, dietary goal, and language — can be edited anytime in Profile. Citrus uses these to personalise scoring and guidance, so keeping them current improves results.

6.Reporting a wrong score or bug

If a scan looks incorrect, tap the flag icon on the result to send us a report. For bugs, please email us with your device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened and what you expected.
